Clare-Gladwin CTE CTE offers Career & Technical training to high school juniors and seniors from Clare, Gladwin, Farwell, Harrison and Beaverton.

On Monday, August 24, Clare-Gladwin Career & Technical Education (CTE) hosted orientation for the 2026-27 school year. First- and second-year students and their families had the opportunity to meet instructors, visit their CTE programs, and get ready for the year ahead.

Congratulations to Bob Hunt (Farwell graduate) and Alexis Brooks (Harrison graduate) for representing the Clare-Gladwin CTE Culinary Arts program at the 2026 Nate Santelli ProStart Summer Camp!

During the four-day camp, they learned from culinary professionals, built new skills, and connected with other ProStart students from across Michigan. Both Bob and Alexis shared that they had a great experience!

We're so glad they had the opportunity to attend, and we're proud to support experiences like this through proceeds from our Culinary Arts food sales. Great job, Bob and Alexis!

Clare-Gladwin CTE is pleased to support the City of Clare and the Youth Police Academy, providing local students with valuable opportunities to learn about careers in public safety.

Throughout the academy, students have learned from professionals representing a variety of agencies, including the Michigan State Police Motorcycle Unit, the FBI, the Isabella County Prosecutor's Office, the Michigan DNR Law Enforcement Division, the Clare County Sheriff's Office, the Clare County Dive Team, and military police. These presentations gave students a firsthand look at the many career paths available in law enforcement and public safety.

Today, participants are wrapping up the academy with a visit to Camp Grayling, where they'll tour the installation and experience a special stop at the aerial gunnery range to watch F-16s from the Ohio Air National Guard conduct training exercises.

The Clare-Gladwin CTE Welding Technology students proudly debuted Lady Freedom at the Beaverton 4th of July Parade! 🇺🇸

Thanks to everyone who helped make this project possible. We're especially proud to share that, out of approximately 60 parade entries, Lady Freedom was awarded Most Original Float!

Congratulations to our talented students on a job well done!
