I want to tell you a story about a guy named Paul.

Synthetic kratom, often sold in gas stations, is highly addictive and totally unregulated. Senate Bill 557 would put guardrails around the sale of Kratom by banning synthetic versions and requiring age limits and warning labels.

🎁 Hope 2 Freedom’s 2nd Annual Christmas Party 🎄

We are so grateful to be able to give our residents something special, especially during this time of year. Our goal is always for each resident to feel loved, seen, and valued always, but especially during the holidays, and to receive a little something extra to brighten their holiday spirit✨️

We could not have done this for each home and for each resident how we wanted to. Where there is HOPE there is a way! Our amazing church stepped in and truly blessed our residents with many gifts, more than we ever imagined. I never thought I would be part of a church, let alone fall in love with one the way I have with REMIX Church. From the moment I walk through the doors, I feel welcomed. They know my past, and they greet me with smiles and hugs, just as they do pur residents who attend every Sunday.

The pastors don’t just speak about love, they show it. What they did for our residents was truly a sight to behold. The church created a ✨️Hope Tree✨️, where members could take a resident’s name and purchase gifts just for them. The names were all taken in only 2 days. Witnessing this and how everyone came together to show up for these residents was hearty touching to say the least. Seeing all of these beautiful, thoughtfully chosen gifts was incredibly moving.

Even more meaningful, these gifts were prayed over. Prayers were lifted for those who asked, and even for those who didn’t. Families prayed with their children each night for the residents. Words cannot fully express how grateful and touched I am. ❤️

Thank you so much to Remix Church, Pastor Jimmie Neilsen , Pastor Virginia Kate Neilsen , and everyone who chose a resident to bless with gifts and prayers this Christmas. 🙏

Some of our residents don’t have family. Some won’t receive any other gifts. Some have nowhere to go but the recovery home for Christmas. Others are simply trying to make it through another day without using. Please know how huge this is for them. It reminds them that they matter, that their hard work is noticed, and that they are worthy of a beautiful life and love.

Our community is truly unlike any other, and moments like this bring me even closer to it and remind me we are beyond blessed. I am absolutely blown away by the love we receive from such amazing and beautiful people. ❣️

Happy Thanksgiving from Hope 2 Freedom Recovery Homes!!!

What a spread!!!! We are so grateful for people who have such giving hearts 💕
We are so glad that this is what the men woke up to on Thanksgiving. Some men just got to the house and dont know anyone, some dont have family to go spend time with, and I'm sure not any one of them wanted to be alone this Holiday. Thank God for built in family's and safe places to call home 🏡

Paulie's loved ones and friends...

We will be gathering to celebrate the life of our dear friend and brother Paulie on Saturday, November 22nd at 5:00 p.m. at Riverbank Church.

Please join us as we remember his heart, his laughter, and the light he brought into our home and our lives. Let’s come together in love and faith to honor him and give thanks for the time God allowed us to share with him.
