*****PRESS RELEASE*****

August 2, 2026

In response to complaints about possible illegal activity at a home on Twistback Road, the Claremont Police Department conducted a focused investigation into narcotics distribution over the past few days. Claremont Police Officers, monitoring the activity of that building, made contacts with people who were coming from the home and developed probable cause that the occupants of the building were possessing and distributing drugs, specifically crack co***ne.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 2, Claremont Police officers, assisted by Deputies from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at 216 Twistback Road and seized a large quantity of suspected co***ne, crack co***ne, fentanyl, US currency and a firearm. During the operation, the following subjects were taken into custody:

MONTANA-LEE WOODSUM
AGE 29
Claremont, NH

Controlled Drug Act – Common Nuisances

SKYE REDMOND
AGE 30
Claremont, NH

Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Distribute - Co***ne
Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Distribute – Methamphetamine
Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Distribute – Fentanyl/Heroin
Felonious Use of a Firearm

It is further alleged that Redmond committed these offenses while out on bail

DILLON CUTTING
AGE 26
Claremont, NH

Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Distribute - Co***ne
Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Distribute – Methamphetamine
Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Distribute – Fentanyl/Heroin
Felonious Use of a Firearm

DANIEL RACE
Age 44
Claremont, NH

Electronic Bench Warrant

Three of the four subjects (Redmond, Cutting and Race) were detained at the Sullivan County House of Corrections until their arraignment in the 5th Circuit Court, Claremont District on Monday, August 3, 2026. Woodsum was released on personal recognizance bail, and is expected to appear in the 5th Circuit Court, Claremont District at a later date. We anticipate that additional charges and additional subjects will be arrested as a result of this investigation.

This investigation was supported by the Northern Shield Initiative through the New Hampshire Department of Safety. The Claremont Police Department, and all of our allied law enforcement agencies who collaborate in the Northern Shield Initiative, will aggressively work to interrupt the distribution of dangerous drugs into our community.
