Thank you to the Claremont Courier for highlighting Uncommon Good’s new Behavioral Health Stipend Program and the work of our MED Program Director, Eric Santizo!

With support from a $400,000 grant from UniHealth Foundation, the program will help strengthen the behavioral health workforce in San Bernardino and Riverside counties—supporting professionals who provide critical care in underserved communities.

For Eric, an Uncommon Good alumnus, the work has special meaning: “It’s a full circle moment…we’re helping the community who deserves the care that they need.”

Uncommon Good is hosting our first ever cleanup day! We're seeking volunteers who can help with cleanup, maintenance, and more on September 19th.

The amount of fresh produce our gleaning and farm programs bring in is on track to far surpass last year's numbers. Our new truck will let us bring in even more for those in our community who need access to fresh, free produce!

Uncommon Good recently utilized $58,730 from the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments’ FRESH SGV Edible Food Recovery Micro Grant to purchase a 2026 Toyota Tacoma to aid in its Community Alliance for Urban Sustainable Agriculture urban farming program.

We collected over 50 pounds of trash during our Annual Beach Clean-Up & Fun Day! 🌊♻️

Over 20,000 pounds of fresh produce comes from people who share fruit from their own trees instead of letting it go to waste. Our 100 gleaning partners help reduce food waste while providing healthy food to neighbors in need.
