Self-love is a journey with lots of ups and downs, something that takes time, and is never truly over. However, learning to be kind to yourself and practice self-love is incredible and necessary for your mental health.

When I’m feeling unkind to myself, I always tell myself, if I wouldn’t say it to my best friend, why would I say it to myself. So, if you have someone in your life you care about, just imagine it’s them you’re speaking to when you aren’t feeling kind to yourself.

But also, remember it’s okay to have days where you feel bad, just know you are incredibly worthy and deserve all the good things that come into your life.
