The EmPOWER Center provides free, confidential advocacy and support to 7C students impacted by sexual violence, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. The Center collaborates closely with Project Sister Family Services, a community agency, to provide counseling services to students. lease call 909.607.0690. Drop-in counseling hours at the EmPOWER Center (for the 2019-2020 academic year) are Mondays 12-1pm and Tuesdays 2-3pm, except on holiday breaks. Our Director, Rima Shah, is also a confidential advocate and is available to meet with students for 1-3 sessions to provide care and support. Education:
The Center works collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and community partners to build awareness and sensitivity and provide educational programs to the 7Cs community around healthy relationships, sexual violence, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. The EmPOWER Center welcomes all gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, ethnic and racial identities, religious affiliations, cultural identities, and immigration statuses.
