Please join us in congratulating Firefighters Jacob Newman and Zac Robinett on successfully completing and passing their Firefighter I certifications. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the fire service have paid off, and we are proud to have them as part of the department.

This accomplishment is an important milestone, but it is only the beginning. In the fire service, training never stops, and we look forward to seeing both firefighters continue to grow in knowledge, skill, and experience throughout their careers.
Congratulations, gentlemen, and great job!

šŸ”„CONTROLLED BURN REMINDERšŸ”„

with fire weather conditions ramping up, please keep this in mind.

Even after a fire appears out, hot spots can remain and reignite hours later—or even the next day.

āš ļø Before leaving any burn:
• Soak the area thoroughly with water
• Stir and turn over ashes to expose hidden heat
• Continue applying water until everything is cool to the touch

šŸ‘€ After extinguishment:
• Monitor burn areas frequently
• Watch for smoke, steam, or glowing embers
• Be extra cautious with changing wind conditions

BURN BAN LIFTED – ROGERS COUNTY

The Rogers County Burn Ban has officially expired, and outdoor burning is now permitted.

Even though the ban has been lifted, please continue to burn responsibly and safely:

• Monitor weather conditions and wind
• Never leave fires unattended
• Keep a water source nearby
• Avoid burning during high winds or dry conditions

Our area can still become dangerous quickly, so use caution and help prevent wildfires.

If a fire gets out of control, call 911 immediately.

šŸš’ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Firefighters & Their Families ā¤ļø

šŸ”„While looking back over the last week, we feel it’s Important to acknowledge and thank the hard work of our firefighters and that of neighboring departments who tirelessly worked to keep ours and our surrounding communities safe; Many of whom are volunteers with no compensation for their time and efforts. šŸ”„

To our incredible Tri-District and surrounding area firefighters: You are more than just first responders—you are the beating heart of our community. For every call you answer, for every moment of courage, and for every second spent cleaning and preparing the trucks for the next call. The hours may often go unnoticed, but your dedication to prepare for the next one is greatly appreciated—thank you.

To our firefighters’ families, who sacrifice their time with you so that others can be safe, thank you for your unwavering support. Your strength and understanding are what make our firefighters’ work possible.
