Transportation Updates:

To see current state updates on the following road and bridge projects listed below:

- Low-water crossing bridge update in Dan DeLozier's District 1

- SH-66/I-44/US-412 project update in Commissioner Ron Burrows' District 3 (You can find this information further down the page on our website by clicking the photo link below.)

-The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority provided a US-412 Corridor Construction Update to the Rogers County Board of County Commissioners on August 31, 2026. This update, along with future OTA updates, can be found on the county website under Road and Bridge Updates (the latest posting). April 17, 2026: Asphalt placement is complete. Weather conditions previously delayed pavement striping. Once striping operations begin, work is anticipated to be completed within approximately two weeks.

REMINDER: Adult Craft Night is this Thursday, Sept. 3rd!🥳

Join us on the 1st Thursday of every month for Adult Craft Night, starting at 5pm to 6:30pm, and hosted by our wonderful library clerk, Mrs. Krystal. 😁

Adult Craft Night is for ages 18 and up, and is a bring your own craft/hobby event to provide a calm community crafting space. This program is for all those who want to start a new project, complete an old one, or just want to find fellow creators like themselves, no sign-ups required. Whether your choice of art is textiles, pencils, or puzzles, this night is for you!

NOTICE: Paint mediums are not permitted for now, due to clean up.

Talala Library…

Our first FREE movie is tonight at 6. We received a grant to purchase a copyright license so we can show movies at the library, courtesy of Dollar General. We will schedule as many as our part-time status will allow, and if well attended, we'll apply for the grant again next year.
