❤️🖤 A LITTLE CULTURE, A LITTLE DANCING & A WHOLE LOT OF FUN! 🖤❤️

Our Catalayah Kindergarten and 1st grade Zebras had an AMAZING field trip to the Claremore Performing Arts Center to watch the incredible Rising Buffalo Dancers! 🪶

Here’s something COOL! 🤩 The group was founded by Simon Washee, a World Champion Fancy Dancer and fourth-generation dancer! The group shares Native American culture, history, and traditions through beautiful dancing, music, and colorful regalia!

What made it even more special? It was a FAMILY affair! ❤️ Simon, his wife, and their adorable 5-year-old son performed for our students! Some of our lucky little Zebras even got to join them on stage for a friendship circle!

After the show, our kiddos enjoyed lunch at the park on a BEAUTIFUL fall day! ☀️🍂

A little learning, a little dancing, and a whole lot of memories! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to the Rising Buffalo Dancers for sharing their amazing talents and traditions with us! 🖤❤️

Here are a few reminders for Halloween Costumes next week.

10/21/2026

It's 70 degrees this week but it won’t be long until that temperature begins to drop to 60-50-40… and winter clothing will be needed. Plan ahead!

Claremore Public Schools is hosting a Coat Giveaway & Hoodie Event on Thursday, November 5, 2026! We want to help keep our students warm and ready for the colder weather.

Date: Thursday, November 5, 2026
Morning: 8:00–10:00 a.m.
Afternoon: 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Location: CPS Enrollment Center – Gym

Coats and hoodies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Students must be enrolled in Claremore Public Schools.

Please register here:
https://forms.gle/VALGFANhJJLemHM89

We will also have a donation box available for gently used clothing and outerwear. If you have items your family has outgrown, consider donating them to help another Zebra stay warm this winter!

Please share to help spread the word to our CPS families!

Mrs. Roller’s 1st grade class has a NEW CLASS PET… and he’s a little GOURD-geous! 😂🧡

Meet Spookley, the class pumpkin! 🎃 These little scientists will be watching him decompose throughout the school year! 🔬🍂

But first… they had to get their hands dirty! 🤢🤣 Judging by these pictures, some loved digging into those pumpkin guts… and others were NOT having it! 😂

Nothing says FALL FUN quite like slimy pumpkin guts and a rotting class pet! 🤣
