Our kindergarten classes released their butterflies on the playground!!!! 🦋

They raised them from tiny little eggs and watched each stage of their amazing transformation—caterpillars munching, chrysalises forming, and finally the big moment when they emerged as beautiful butterflies. Along the way, our little scientists learned so much about growth, patience, and change.

There’s something extra sweet about watching kindergarteners care for something so small and fragile… and then gently send it off into the world with big smiles and even bigger “bye butterflies!” waves. 💛🦋

🌟 May Employees of the Month 🌟

Congratulations to Mrs. Shamblin and Mrs. Ratcliff, our May Employees of the Month!

These two amazing ladies each bring something special to our school family.

💙 Mrs. Shamblin is the calm, patient, and sweet presence we all need when our days get a little crazy. She has a way of bringing peace to any situation and is always there with a kind heart and gentle spirit.

💛 Mrs. Ratcliff is full of fun and energy and might just be the best compliment-giver around! If you're ever having a rough day, stop by Mrs. Ratcliff's room. She has a way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated, and you'll leave with a smile just from being around her.

Together, these ladies help make Catalayah such a wonderful place to learn and work. Their kindness, positivity, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

Catalayah wouldn't be the same without them! Thank you, Mrs. Shamblin and Mrs. Ratcliff, for all you do!

We still have lots of Lost & Found items waiting to be picked up in the front lobby! 👕🧥🎒

We also have a limited number of extra yearbooks available for purchase for $25 each while supplies last! 📚✨

If your child left any belongings in their classroom, those items have been gathered and placed in the front lobby as well, with their name on them.

⏰ Pickup Hours:

* Wednesday: Until 4:00 PM
* Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
* Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🚨 Please claim all Lost & Found items by Friday at noon. Any unclaimed items will be donated.
