Red Ribbon Week is almost here, Claremont Zebras!

Get ready for a week full of fun, creativity, and school spirit as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week, October 26–30!

This year's theme is "Be Kind to Your Mind. Live Drug Free!" We're encouraging our students to make healthy choices while having some fun along the way!

We can't wait to see our Zebras show off their creativity and school spirit! Let's make it a great week, Claremont!

This week’s featured find is Smile by Raina Telgemeier! This popular graphic novel follows Raina as she navigates middle school, friendships, braces, and some unexpected dental drama! With plenty of humor and relatable moments, this story reminds readers that growing up isn't always easy, but there's always a reason to smile.

Claremont's 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!

Please join us in giving a HUGE congratulations to Mrs. Stanart, our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Stanart is one of our wonderful 2nd grade teachers who has dedicated 15 years to education, with the last 5 years right here in Claremore!

Described by her colleagues as kind, caring, easygoing, and flexible, Mrs. Stanart consistently goes above and beyond to provide her students with the best education possible. She is a lifelong learner who is always finding new ways to make learning fun, meaningful, and engaging for her kiddos!

Her passion for teaching and genuine love for her students shine through in everything she does. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our Claremont family!

Learning came to life for our 5th graders during Cherokee Heritage Day!

Students had the chance to learn directly from guests from the Cherokee Nation as they explored traditional games, stories, and activities connected to Cherokee heritage and culture.

There was plenty of learning, laughter, and hands-on fun along the way!

Thank you to our visitors for sharing their knowledge, traditions, and time with our students.

Our 4th graders had a special opportunity to take part in Cherokee Heritage Day!

Guests from the Cherokee Nation visited Claremont and shared traditional games, stories, and activities that helped bring Cherokee culture and history to life.

Our students loved learning through hands-on experiences, asking questions, and gaining a deeper appreciation for the traditions of the Cherokee people.

We are so thankful to our guests for spending the day with us and creating such a meaningful experience for our 4th graders! Stay tuned to see all the fun our 5th graders had!

Get ready to roll into a spooktacular evening at the Claremont PTO Skate Night on Wednesday, October 21st!
We are bringing back one of our favorite community traditions with an exciting twist for both students and staff.

• When: Wednesday, October 21st
• Where: Claremore Roller World
(950 W 4th St Claremore)
• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Admission: $6 entry fee ~ $2 Skate Mate

Costume Contest
• Dress up: Wear your favorite Halloween costume.
• Keep it safe: Ensure costumes are safe for skating (no dragging fabric or unsafe masks).
• Win prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the most creative, funniest, and spookiest costumes!

Teacher Attendance Challenge
We want our amazing Claremont teachers to join the fun too!
• Show up: Head to the rink and check in at the PTO TABLE under your teacher's name.
• Pack the rink: The classroom with the highest student attendance wins.
• Reward your teacher: The winning class's teacher will take home an awesome prize!

It's time to bundle up, Zebras!

Claremore Public Schools is hosting a Coat Giveaway & Hoodie Event on Thursday, November 5, 2026! We want to help keep our students warm and ready for the colder weather.

Date: Thursday, November 5, 2026
Morning: 8:00–10:00 a.m.
Afternoon: 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Location: CPS Enrollment Center – Gym

Coats and hoodies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Students must be enrolled in Claremore Public Schools.

A big thank you to the Claremore Reveille Rotary Club for donating two boxes of snacks for our students!

These snacks are such a helpful resource to have on hand for kiddos who may need a little something during the school day.

We are so thankful for community partners who continue to support our students and help us take care of our Zebras!
