Here is the parade route that we will be driving with the Easter Bunny. We have changed it slightly this year and will be leaving the Fire Station at 10am, on April 3rd, starting down Shisler/Wherle to Gunnville, turning right onto Gunnville heading to the front lot of the High School. Please be aware there is a football game scheduled that morning in the rear of the high school. The balance of the parade will be the same as last Easter. We are trying to go down as many roads as possible, but please understand that we will not be able to go by everyone's homes. The route is already 30 miles long and takes us almost 4 hours to complete. Please be patient and we will try to provide updates during the parade. If you are not on the parade route, we should be going through the High School front parking lot approximately 10:15am where you can park and view us as we pass through. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again!!!!!!!

Better news for restaurants.

Better news for restaurants.

On a call with reporters this afternoon, Governor Cuomo announced that all restaurants outside of New York City can increase indoor dining capacity to 75% on March 19. NYSRA has been pushing for an increase to this number as the positivity rate continues to decrease. While we are happy that the Governor listened, we must also keep pushing for equal treatment for NYC restaurants.
Please note: All guidance from the Phase 3 Indoor Dining guidelines still apply, including 6 feet spacing. As a reminder, you’re able to use barriers of 5 ft in height in place of the distancing, which could help you reach 75% capacity. Review guidance here: https://on.ny.gov/3bpmhTW

The Clarence Chamber of Commerce is extremely gratified with the tremendous turnout for the “Big Truck” display at Eastern Hills Mall. We never anticipated or could have conceived the magnitudes that would in most cases wait patiently for the lines to bring their families through our Big Truck Parade. The massive size of construction equipment unusual riggings, enormous dump & cement trucks, police, Fire & Swat team vehicles along with patriotic trims & flags were a site to see.

THANK YOU to the volunteers that put many hours into helping to plan this event. Thank you to our sponsors that helped to make this event possible. We could not have done it with out you.

**Due to the unforeseen amount of interest (over 2000 cars) we are aware of the congregation and traffic control issues that arose during the event. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and the negative impact this caused families and neighboring companies alike. We appreciate everyone’s constructive comments and concerns and will take them all into consideration for the future.

Thank you to all those that came out and waited in long lines with little ones to check out this event. I can image how difficult that was as I have a little guy myself and our family has experienced this in like situations during these unprecedented times we are living in. I do hope that the wait was worth it in the end and that you were able to find some joy in the event. Thank you also for the very generous donations that were received today.

Here are some great pictures for all to enjoy.

Frustrated with your hourly hiring struggles? The time to think outside of the box for hiring is here as business picks up and people remain reluctant to return to work. See our tips on alternative recruiting sources, strategies, and other opportunities when it comes to your hiring efforts.
Big Truck Event!- I attended the Big Truck Event today, I was also a sponsor and had some trucks on display. Just wanted to take a moment and thank EVRYONE involved, The Chamber, Eastern Hills Mall, the sponsors, all the companies that brought equipment to display, food vendors, law enforcement and especially the volunteers. Participation was awesome and I received a ton of positive feedback. Unfortunately with an event with such popularity your going to have some traffic issues. Seeing the smiles on the faces of all the Girls and Boys as they drove through was priceless. Thanks for having us and looking forward to next years event. David Thompson, Cummins Sales and Service.
It's happening! Although we've been talking about this topic for MONTHS, we continue to get questions and see demand for more info on Employer Obligations regarding employee leave in 2021- including COVID leave requirements that are ever-evolving. Join us to get answers to your questions, and get some free pro-tips on how to navigate these shark infested waters in 2021. https://www.allyhrpartners.com/events
Need help or looking for free resources on handling current hot-topic employment compliance issues? Without a qualified professional's review and oversight of your employment practices, even in the smallest operation, you could be unnecessarily leaving yourself open to fines and claims that can result from a simple complaint from a disgruntled employee, or unexpected payroll audit. At Ally HR, we partner with you to make sure your HR practices meet all NYS and Federal compliance standards, and guide you through employment related issues and decisions that may be the seeds for employment claims later. We understand that, especially in the time of COVID, small business budgets are at an all-time low, while uncertainty is at an all-time high. That's why we've put together reduced-priced, compliance-focused packages to help you find peace of mind in at least one part of your business while we all are just doing our best to make it through. Check out more about what we do, and how we might be able to help you through current employee-related concerns for COVID, employee leaves, payroll, or other hot-topic areas of HR on our website today.

Did you know that, in NYS especially, Wage & Hour compliance is the #1 area of employment-related claims, lawsuits, and fines? Be one of the lucky businesses to get a complete a full review of your payroll and time & attendance practices to at least check one area of stress off your list for 2021!
All the news on the latest COVID Bill focuses on unemployment and stimulus check components, but there is also an important update on FFCRA leave that employers should be aware of. Employers should weigh the pros and cons of their options under this new Bill, and determine whether making COVID leave available beyond 12/31 would be beneficial to their employees and business.
