Another fantastic summer kickoff party is in the books! There’s still plenty more summer fun lined up…we’ve got sharks, giant bubbles and a foam party still to come!!

Thank you SO much to everyone who helped with yesterday’s event! And a very special thank you to the families who brought out their race cars, and let the kids check out the view from behind the wheel! 🏁

Our Summer Kickoff Party happens today, Thursday, June 4! We'll be at the Clarence City Park from 3:30-6pm along with Crash'n Bash Hobbies and their mobile racetrack, Millers Petting Zoo, Regan’s Face Painting, Iowa Coffee Cup, LLC and Wes the Best Balloon Guy! Some awesome folks from around town are hopefully bringing their race cars to show off for the kids and we'll have free hot dogs, popcorn and treats! See you there!

🏴‍☠️ The pirates were SO PROUD when I told them that 87 kids signed up early for summer reading! They sent the captain straight away and in the wee hours of the morning he filled up all the treasure chests with goodies!!! 🏴‍☠️

We're tracking our reading all month so there's still plenty of time to get signed up! And don't forget, our kickoff party is Thursday at the park from 3:30-6!!

The peach sale helps us do all kinds of cool things for our community (everything from petting zoos to pizza parties) so definitely get yours ordered!

We have a BIG month coming up starting with our Kickoff party NEXT WEEK - Millers Petting Zoo will be there along with Crash'n Bash Hobbies with their mobile RC car track, Regan’s Face Painting, Iowa Coffee Cup, LLC, Wes the Best Balloon Guy and a Race Car touch-a-truck! These events are for EVERYONE, you don't have to have a library card to come have some fun so tell all your friends!

It's not just one Thursday, we'll have a free activity and meal for kids EVERY Thursday in June and everyone is invited! We have about 25 spots left in each of Shark Touch Tank times slots so if you'd like to attend, contact the library and get signed up!
