Nor even the books that stand in rows.

I am the wisdom of the universe;

Happy '9 to 5' Dolly Parton Day!

While Dolly Parton was known worldwide for her legendary music career, her impact reached far beyond the stage.

She was especially known for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the literacy program she founded to provide millions of free books to young children and inspire a lifelong love of reading.

The Friends of the Library financially support our partnership with the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to promote literacy and the love of reading to children age birth to 5 years of age living in Clarendon Hills!

Eligible children are mailed a book a month (until they turn 5) free of charge.

Find out how to register your child for this amazing literacy initiative at: https://clarendonhillslibrary.org/kids/dolly-parton-imagination-library-partnership
