Southwest Iowa Families is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) Provider to support children, adolescents, and families in developing skills that promote emotional, behavioral, and social success.
Position Summary
BHIS Providers work directly with children and families in home, school, and community settings to help clients achieve individualized treatment goals. Providers deliver skill-building interventions that improve behavior, communication, emotional regulation, social skills, and daily functioning.
Responsibilities
Provide direct BHIS services to children and adolescents.
Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions.
Teach coping skills, problem-solving skills, emotional regulation, and social skills.
Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
Participate in supervision and team meetings.
Monitor client progress and communicate updates to the treatment team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Education, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with a treatment team.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
Ability to pass required background checks.
