As Kid Captains, they’ll have the honor of joining the Clarinda High School football captains at midfield for the coin toss before this week’s home game!

We’re proud to recognize these young athletes for setting a great example for their teammates and representing Clarinda Youth Tackle Football well.

Our senior team had the opportunity to travel to Shenandoah last week for a scrimmage with their youth tackle football team.

Same county, 2 different jerseys, but at the end of the day, it’s about giving these boys opportunities to learn, compete, and grow together.

A big thank you to Shenandoah for having us and helping make both programs better!

Practice is well underway for the Clarinda Youth Tackle Football program! We are excited for the upcoming season with 63 boys participating across 4th, 5th, and 6th grade from both Clarinda Community and Clarinda Lutheran schools.

Our players are putting in the work, and we’re fortunate to have a great group of coaches bringing plenty of football knowledge and experience to help these boys learn, grow, and have a positive season.

Over the next few days, we’ll be introducing each of our 2026 CYTF teams and sharing their official rosters. Help us recognize these boys and cheer them on as they get ready for the season ahead!
