Just a heads up, Page county is still in a burn ban. With the warmer days ahead, it’s going to dry everything out even more. The wind is supposed to pick up again on Sunday as well.

We will begin testing the outdoor warning sirens tomorrow March 18th at 10:00 am. Please comment where you hear them. They will be tested the 3rd Wednesday of each month through October. If there is a threat of severe weather we will cancel that month.
Also, as a heads up, next week is Severe Weather Awareness Week so watch for daily posts and we will participate in the statewide tornado drill on Wednesday March 25th at 10:00 am. This will be a great time to practice your tornado plan.

I would like to give a big thank you to Agriland FS, in Clarinda, lowa for their Fuel Up & Give Back fundraising event for the Clarinda Fire Dept. We truly appreciate the generous community support for purchasing fuel at the Agriland FS during the program time period. The Clarinda Fire Dept. received $10,069.00 from this program.

Small town fire departments rely heavily on donations and grants throughout the year to be able to provide quality services for our community. This awesome program and fundraiser will help provide protective gear for firefighters and emergency equipment for emergency responses.
Once again, I would like to thank Agriland FS and the Clarinda community for your continued support for the Clarinda Fire Dept.

Earlier this December, we had our annual fire department Christmas party. This year was a pretty big year for a couple of guys. Wayne did an outstanding job at his stand-up act as well.
