Special Election - September 8, 2026
Polling Locations have been combined:

~If you are in the Shenandoah School District and live in Page County - you will vote at the Shenandoah Historical Society.
~If you are in the Shenandoah School District and live in Mills County - you will vote at the Shenandoah Historical Society.
~If you are in the Shenandoah School District and live in Fremont County - you will vote at the Waterfalls Event Center in Farragut.

~If you live in the Clarinda School District and live in Page County - you will vote at the Clarinda Lied Library or the Page County Courthouse - whichever is your normal polling location.
~If you live in the Clarinda School District and live in Taylor County - you will vote at the New Market Community Center.

~If you would like to vote absentee for either election:
You will come to the Auditor's Office at the Page County Courthouse, Monday - Friday between 8am - 4:30pm. The last day we can accept absentee voters will be September 4, 2026.

~Our office will not be open on September 7, 2026 to observe Labor Day.

~Curbside voting is available for absentee voting at the Courthouse, or on election day at the polling locations. Call the Auditor's office at 712-542-3219 when you arrive and we will bring a ballot to the car.

Recently, Page County Deputy Haffner responded to a vehicle that had slid off the roadway and into a pond, becoming deeply embedded in thick mud. The passenger found himself trapped and was unable to free himself as the mud held him in place. Without hesitation, Deputy Haffner waded into the waist-deep mud and water to safely reach the passenger. With the assistance of some of the driver’s family members, Deputy Haffner was able to rescue the man and get him safely out of the vehicle.

This incident is a reminder that our deputies answer calls in all kinds of situations—not just those involving crime. Whether it's lending a helping hand, responding to emergencies, or putting themselves in uncomfortable and challenging conditions to protect others, they are committed to serving our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Deputy Haffner - your willingness to jump in without hesitation made all the difference and reflects the very best of Page County.

As your Auditor’s office, we are continually inspired by the enduring democratic traditions that have guided our country for two and a half centuries—especially the freedom to vote and make our voices heard.
