The actual speed observed by this deputy was 101 in a 55 zone on Highway 17 just south of Eagle Grove! The reason? Late for work…. Also cited No Valid DL, No Proof of Insurance, Registration Transfer Violation. Not only was he now going to be even more late for work but this incident cost him $1352.75 in citations!!!

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened just before 7:30 pm near the intersection of Highway 69 and 200th Street.

A young adult driver was caught going 114mph on Hwy 69 by a Wright County Deputy. The driver was late for work and was given a ticket for $434.50
