You don’t want to miss our 14U Season Finale Showdown!

Ten talented teams are coming to Clarion County for a weekend packed with competitive softball, exciting matchups and plenty of action! Games kick off Friday night and continue throughout the weekend at Paul A. Weaver Memorial Park and the Clarion-Limestone Softball Field.

Check out the team list and schedule, find your favorite matchup and come cheer on these incredible athletes! We can’t wait to see our community fill the stands and make this an unforgettable weekend.

What an incredible weekend at our Softball Season Finale Showdown!

Twelve teams competed at Paul A. Weaver Memorial Park and the Clarion-Limestone High School softball field, bringing players, families and visitors to Clarion County while showcasing tremendous youth talent, determination and sportsmanship.

This weekend was about more than softball—it celebrated our community, our young athletes and the hard work that makes events like this possible. It also demonstrated what we can accomplish when local organizations and volunteers work together.

A huge thank-you to our volunteers from VNA of Clarion and Forest Counties, U-Bird Cheer Foundation, The Arc of Clarion and Venango Counties, and the Clarion Little League organization. Your time, energy and partnership made this weekend possible!

And we’re not finished yet! Join us August 14–16 at Weaver Park and CL for our final tournament weekend, featuring six 8U teams and ten 14U teams. Things are sure to get exciting when these battles kick off Friday night!

Come out, cheer on your neighbors and help us give every visiting team a warm Clarion County welcome!

Congratulations to the Psychos from Philipsburg, our 10U Softball Season Finale Showdown champions!

We also congratulate the Clarion Wildcats, who fought hard until the very end to earn second-place medals! 🥈

With nine talented teams competing, every medal was truly earned. The talent, determination and sportsmanship displayed by all of the teams throughout the weekend made this an exciting and memorable tournament.

Congratulations to the 12U Clarion Wildcats Softball team on earning first place in our inaugural Softball Season Finale Showdown!

It was a hard-fought championship battle against DuBois' Atlas Animals from beginning to end, and every medal was truly earned.

We are incredibly proud of both teams for their determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. Congratulations, Wildcats and Atlas Animals!

Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh today announced that eligible households will receive a $100 supplemental payment from the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

PA DHS will issue the $100 supplemental payments for households that both received LIHEAP during the 2025-26 season and include at least one family member who has a disability, is age 60 or older, or is a child under the age of six. Approximately 193,000 households will be automatically issued a supplemental payment to the same utility vendor who received their cash grant during the normal LIHEAP season. Households will receive a notice informing them that they are eligible and will receive the supplement.

“We know that even though winter is over, many Pennsylvanians may still need assistance with utility bills from last season. LIHEAP helps some of the Commonwealth's most vulnerable citizens – children, older Pennsylvanians, people with disabilities, and low-income families – make ends meet and keep their homes safer, and we are pleased to be able to offer this one-time supplemental payment to LIHEAP households,” said Secretary Arkoosh.
