Over the last few weeks, the Veterans Park has been vandalized, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
The new slide was broken last week, and this set of picnic tables was vandalized for the second time over the past weekend.
It saddens us to consider the park's long-term goal and the possibility of halting all future development.
We will file a report with the Bonner County Sheriff's Office regarding the various acts of vandalism. Hopefully, someone saw who did this, or the person responsible will own up to their mistakes.
