There have been some posts being made regarding the dissolution/merger of the Clark Volunteer Fire Company (but it’s listed on our building as Department).

The dissolution/merger of the CVFC(D) was brought to us by the CVFC chief. Borough council did not seek out this venture initially.

The CVFC has provided great services to all of our residents over the years. The Borough did not take this decision lightly and are sad to see it end.

***Please be officially notified that the Borough not only posts our monthly agenda at our local post office, but For those who luckily have a mail carrier, the agenda is also posted on our website ( www.Clarkboro.com ) as we intend to get the word out to all of our residents. ***

Please refrain from complaints on decisions made by our council without making the effort to attend or at minimum check the website for the agenda/monthly minutes to see what’s being discussed.

Our council does its very best to put the residents first. It is up to you as a resident, to be aware of what’s going on.

If you have any questions, please feel free to attend our monthly meetings, which are also on our website and advertised every January.

Every monthly meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6pm sharp. ALL are welcome to attend, it is public.

The meetings are currently held in the Borough office, due to lack of attendance. If more residents came, it would be held in the social hall.

Be on the lookout! There have been two different men on different days soliciting in town. Make sure to lock your cars and doors at night just in case.

Also, if anyone knocks on your door trying to sell anything you should do one or both of the following:

1) ask for a permit. Any person soliciting in the borough is required to obtain a permit from me.
2) you can call the police immediately and have them removed from the neighborhood

Clark Borough is holding its annual community yard sales on Saturday, August 1, 2026. 9am-3pm.

Do not block any driveways.

Please be cautious of people as we are not enforcing one-way traffic this year.

Local Earned Income Tax Reminder Notices

Berkheimer is mailing reminder notices to residents who may still need to file a 2025 Local Earned Income Tax return or provide information about their filing status.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
To Clark Borough residents:
I have been notified that there are multiple homes that have had their wells go dry, including the municipal building. We do not know why this has happened, however I need your help in determining how many homes have been affected. Please contact me at the borough office, or send a message, if you have been affected.

All situations are different however some signs to notice are low water pressure, trickling water, sometimes the smell of sulfur in your water.
