What an AWESOME day at North Routt Community Charter School! 🚲🤘

We had the opportunity to host an incredible anti-bullying BMX show right here in Clark, and even better, we got to share it with students from Steamboat Montessori and Soda Creek Elementary who came up to join us.

The riders, Eric and Tony, were absolutely AMAZING. Incredible BMX tricks, tons of energy, lots of excited kids, and most importantly, such a brilliant message about bullying, kindness, respect, and how we treat each other.

One of our favorite parts was getting several of our local schools together for something like this. ❤️ It was so much fun for the kids to meet students from other schools, share an experience together, and hear such an important message at the same time.

We feel pretty darn lucky to have this amazing little school up here in Clark, and it was fantastic getting to open our doors and share a little piece of North Routt with everyone who came up.

Huge thank you to Eric and Tony for putting on one heck of a show and giving the kids a message they’ll hopefully remember long after the bikes are packed up.

What a fun day at NRCCS!

We are excited to help offer a great location for a ballot box in North Routt!

A new secure ballot drop box has been added in North Routt. It’s in the parking lot of North Routt Community Charter School in Clark.

The new ballot box is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, during election periods. It will be securely monitored and maintained in accordance with Colorado election laws and procedures.

"Our goal is to ensure every voter has convenient, secure access to ballot return options," said Jenny Thomas, Routt County Clerk & Recorder. "We appreciate our community partners who help us provide accessible voting services throughout Routt County, and we are excited to offer this new North Routt location for voters."

We held our first Community Meeting of the year today! 🎉 Mr. Gallagher kicked things off with a dance party and some cheers before we talked about responsibility and how everyone has a place in the NRCCS crew.

Throughout the year, students will continue building on our character traits, habits of a learner, and what it means to be an upstander during Community Meetings and daily SEL time.

Can you feel the excitement? Today was the first day of school at North Routt Community Charter School and the energy was off the charts! 🎒✨ Teachers and students returned with big smiles and even bigger goals — we’re so excited for the year ahead!
