The civil rights lawsuit against Clark was not thrown out and will be proceeding. In addition to Clark Township our current police director Pat Grady is a defendant in the suit as well as former mayor Sal Bonaccorso and former police chief Pedro Matos.

The Attorney's General Office sued in December, amid a years-long racism scandal.

10 years ago Clark held a candidates night for residents to learn about the ideas of those running for office. That is a distant memory that the current leadership seems committed to never repeat. This makes residents less informed about local issues and the choices they have.

Stronger Clark would like to recognize and congratulate the members of the Clark Township Police Department honored at the recent awards ceremony.

Every day, our officers put on the uniform and serve our community with professionalism, courage, and dedication. Whether responding to emergencies, protecting our neighborhoods, supporting residents, or helping keep Clark safe, their work often goes unseen and underappreciated.

This video is being shared simply to recognize the men and women of the Clark Police Department and to thank them for their service to our town. We appreciate all that they do for Clark each and every day. Congratulations to all of the award recipients and their families on this well-deserved recognition.

Supporters say ADUs could help:
• create more affordable housing
• help seniors age in place
• give homeowners extra income
• help young adults stay in NJ

Opponents worry about:
• overdevelopment
• parking and traffic
• school overcrowding
• loss of local zoning control

One major debate is whether towns should decide this themselves or whether the state should set the rules for every municipality.

How do you feel about ADUs in New Jersey?
