The Clark Police Department received a rifle -rated ballistic shield from United States Deputy Sheriff's Association

This vital addition to our equipment significantly enhances our tactical capabilities and elevates overall officer safety.

Law enforcement officers today face increasingly complex and unpredictable operational environments, even in rural communities. The donation of this specialized, rifle-rated ballistic armor provides our officers with critical, high-level protection during high-risk calls, active threat deployments, and critical incident responses.

I was proud to be a part of this legislation SB98. SB 98 puts improved safeguards in place to protect South Dakota consumers from fraud being perpetrated through virtual currency kiosks located throughout South Dakota. We still have work to do to make sure our citizens our safe from the ongoing threats of the fraud. Also, Bitcoin depot recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They were an opponent to SB98. Thanks to everyone that helped get this over the finish line.

The City of Clark SD - Government sirens are not working at this time. We are working to get them fixed. If severe weather is forecasted please use a weather radio, local radio stations or TV.

Beginning Wednesday, June 24, will begin working on a couple of our roads. The work will begin on South Smith St. at the intersection of Hwy 212 and go down to 182nd St or Clark County 35. No vehicles should be parked on this stretch of S. Smith St. to allow the microsurfacing to coat the existing asphalt in place. This segment will remain open with flagger stations and a pilot car.

After this is complete they will move to N. Commercial St from Hwy 212 to 7th Ave NE. All vehicles will need to park elsewhere for the day this is completed. These 6 blocks will be closed for the day, so you must find an alternate route to travel and park on. NO DRIVING AROUND BARRICADES. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

With severe weather upon us. We will be starting to test our outdoor storm sirens weekly around noon Thursdays. In the event of a chance of severe weather during testing day we will not test the siren.
