Members of the Clark community gathered at ShopRite of Clark on Thursday morning as the Clark American Legion Post 328 was presented with a $5,000 donation in recognition of the organization’s outstanding service to veterans and the community. The donation was made possible through ShopRite’s veterans fundraising efforts. Representatives from ShopRite praised the American Legion for its many community programs, outreach initiatives and continued support of local veterans. Mayor Angel Albanese, Councilwoman Hoff, Business Administrator Jim Ulrich and other township representatives joined Commander Dave Broadwell and members of Post 328 for the special presentation celebrating the organization’s dedication and impact throughout the community.

This past Saturday our members had the honor of attending a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at Colonia Fire Headquarters. The Colonia VFW Post 6061 did all the cooking.
The event was to help support two year old Adelyn Kotarsky, daughter of Woodbridge Police Officer Andrew Kotarsky who was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer.

This was the Departments first live burn training of the year. We will have two more scheduled at the Middlesex County Fire Academy where most of our outside training is held. The facility is excellent, there are multiple different buildings to train with and the instructors knowledge and efforts are very much appreciated.
