If you haven’t been to the ReStore in a while or if you were just there, its likely something new has been brought to the sales floor since your last visit. The ReStore Team of Gabe, Aaron, Shelby and Tiffany are making sure new items are brought out to the sales floor daily! So, if you didn't find an item you were looking for on your first trip to The ReStore, it may be there on your second - you just never know. AND, by shopping at The ReStore or making a donation to it, you're directly supporting a Habitat Home Build and, most of all, a Habitat Partner Family's home. The ReStore, is located at 1085 Rocky Branch Rd, Clarkesville. We hope to see you soon!

Most anyone familiar with Habitat For Humanity knows that our Homeownership Program is not a hand out, but a hand up. And, if you ask any Partner Family, they'll tell you that it's, "Not easy, but certainly worth it!". And, for Partner Families like The Davis Family, its not just about putting in the hard work, but it’s about making memories that will last forever. Having the opportunity to help build your very first home together as a family – or that of a future next door neighbor’s as was the case earlier this week, only happens once in a lifetime and are blessed moments which should be remembered and cherished. Congratulations to the entire Davis Family for making the most of their journey to Habitat Homeownership…and making it about “Family” while achieving their dream of homeownership!

Habitat For Humanity of NE GA's will be offering a second Habitat Homebuyer Workshop on Tuesday, June 23rd in Cleveland Ga at the UCBI Community Room located at 89 E Jarrard St. This workshop is open to anyone in the White or Habersham County areas and will be a great opportunity for residents of both counties in that our next Habitat Home Development will be on a property located almost directly between Cleveland and Clarkesville! So, if you have the ability to pay an affordable mortgage, are in need of safe & secure housing, currently live in White or Habersham County and/or have been working in one of those counties for at least one year - and are willing to partner with Habitat, please plan to attend our upcoming Habitat Homeownership Workshops.
**Again, the next workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 5pm - and will be held at the UCBI Community Room located at 89 E Jarrard St, Cleveland GA.

Family blessings abound! Pictured left to right: Chris & Tiffany Kinnarath and Aaron & Gabe Morales.
Tiffany & Chris entered the Habitat Partner Family Program in early 2024 and had the dedication of their new Habitat home in June of 2025. And, Tiffany & Chris opened their Rolling Rice Food truck towards the end of 2025 with it now becoming a fixture at Habitat Events and at the ReStore with portions, (and often all), of Food Truck sales being donated back to Habitat For Humanity of NE GA in support of our Habitat Home Builds. Oh, and Tiffany was promoted to ReStore Manager earlier this year as well...so, its been a big two years for the Kinnaraths!
Aaron & Gabe Morales are the father and son duo who help keep our incredibly full donation pick-up schedule on track and as scheduled, help prepare donated items for the sales floor and if you've ever picked up something from the ReStore, its very likely one of these great men helped load it for you. Aaron & Gabe, along with Shelby Whitlow who's not pictured, make up the awesome team that keeps the ReStore going in support of what we do at Habitat for the awesome communities and Partner Families we serve!

Build Update: Habitat House #84 is beginning to take shape with framing in progress, a floor plan now visible and a roof soon to be in place. Despite some very wet weather the last several weeks, construction continues and remains on schedule. Such an exciting time with House #83 almost complete, the build for #84 in full swing and the groundbreaking of #85 set for later this month!

Build Update, Habitat House #83.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our awesome Habitat volunteers - and despite A LOT of bad weather over the last several weeks, Habitat House #83 is very close to becoming a Habitat Home for the The Harbin Family - who have been in Partner Family program since fall of 2025. There are just a few tasks remaining with completion expected by June 19th and we are all looking forward to the Home Dedication being planned for later this month!
