It's May! Come join our Women in Blues 2026 and other great Clarksdale festivals this month... and go party with the Kimbroughs and our Hill Country friends this weekend! Here's the full calendar:
🎶 5/1-3 Robert Kimbrough Sr. Cotton Patch Soul Blues starts today and has an epic 10th year planned, Friday through Sunday in Holly Springs.
🎶 5/9 Clarksdale Caravan is a street party of fab local musicians outside Cat Head Delta Blues & Folk Arts, and the Pinetop Perkins Foundation's annual Pinetop Boogie is inside Ground Zero, with a heckuva lineup all day.
🎶 5/16 Our 5th annual Women in Blues is being rescheduled-- but you can still rock out with LaLa Craig and Mayumi Shara for happy hour at Levon's starting at 5pm, and Ms. Nikki at Red's and Quita 'Songbird' Davis at Ground Zero starting at 8pm.
🎶 5/22-23 Ground Zero Blues Club always celebrates their anniversary in style! Check the full lineup and grab tix on their website.
🎶 5/23 The 2nd Tater SuperBad Blues Festival is at the Matchbox, just up the block from Ground Zero. $5 cash cover gets you a full day with great musicians celebrating our local legend "Mr. Tater" Foster Wiley.
🎶 5/24 Sean's Bad Apple Blues Club Festival is behind his club Sunday afternoon -- a perfect way to wind down Memorial Day Weekend.
🎶 5/28-30 The Son House Tribute Festival is just $40 for 3 days celebrating Son House with performances, film & discussion. Buy tix online or $10-25 each day at the door.
So y'all come Visit Holly Springs, MS to juke up with the Kimbroughs in Hill Country now, then come Visit Clarksdale for Women in Blues and other classic Delta festivals -- all month long!
