Today is the Democratic Party Primary for NYS Comptroller and the United States Congressional race here on Clarkson. Polls are open until 9. As of 10:00am only 5.6 percent of registered Democrats have voted here in Clarkson.

High School students: help encourage safety on the roads this summer with a design contest from the Monroe County Clerk's Office, Jamie Romeo!

Monroe County STOP DWI & Traffic Safety and Monroe County Clerk Jamie Romeo call on High School students in our community to showcase their creativity and impact change with our spring 2026 PSA Contest!
Students pick the type of media and the message; we pick the winners and help promote the PSA. The goal with the PSA will be to educate our community on the importance of safe driving choices during what is known nationally as the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer between Memorial and Labor Day holidays! With this we want to encourage safety and the desire for no more deaths with “100 Days of Safe Summer Roads”!

Many thanks to our neighbors that braved the cold for the Clarkson Cares Canal Clean Up today. 390 pounds of garbage was cleaned up along the canal and the surrounding areas. Leaving our world a little cleaner than we found it. Thanks for the opportunity.
