Community Information Meeting – Oakland County Enhancement Millage
Good Afternoon,
Community members are invited to attend an upcoming informational meeting to learn more about the Oakland County Regional Enhancement Millage proposal that will appear on the August 4, 2026, ballot.
Over the past several weeks, informational meetings have been held across Oakland County to help residents better understand the proposal and ask questions. The final meeting for residents in the northwest quadrant of the county will take place on:

Village of Clarkston, MI 48346
During the meeting, attendees will hear an overview of the proposed millage, including how funds would be distributed, the estimated impact on taxpayers, and what it could mean for local public school districts and students across Oakland County. There will also be an opportunity for community members to ask questions.
If approved by voters, the proposed enhancement millage would provide additional per-student funding directly to all Oakland County public school districts and eligible public school academies. Local Boards of Education would determine how funds are used based on the needs of their communities through the public budgeting process.
Potential uses of the funding could include:
• Attracting and retaining high-quality staff
• Maintaining appropriate class sizes
• Expanding student support services
• Strengthening school safety and security
• Sustaining and enhancing educational programming
This meeting is part of an ongoing effort to provide factual, transparent information ahead of the August election.
