*UPDATE: 10:00pm The service crew has completed the repair and backfilling the ditch now. If all continues to go as planned valves will be opened within the hour.
There may continue to be areas with low pressure until the system stabilizes. Multiple flushing valves will be opened around the area to help alleviate air in the lines. This is normal after a leak of this magnitude. If you experience air in your lines, turn on a faucet on the cold water side. Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve the problem.

*UPDATE: 8:00pm, Service crew is still onsite working diligently to make the repair as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.

There is a main line leak near Pinnacle Point Bridge.
There will be an interruption of water service and/or low pressure in the surrounding area of the Rock Springs Rd and ALL roads leading off of Rock Springs Rd in Cheatham and Dickson County.
The interruption of water service and/or low pressure may extend as far as Bowker Rd, Sensing Rd and Maple Valley Rd.
Our service crew will remain onsite until the repair is complete.
For the safety of the workers, please drive slowly thru the Pinnacle Point Bridge area.

We’re grateful for the sunshine today and the improvement in road conditions! Please note that our office will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 29th.
While our lobby is closed, our Emergency Response Plan continues to operate seamlessly.
All calls are being answered remotely, and emergency issues are being promptly addressed.
This afternoon, our Service Crew successfully repaired a mainline leak on Vernon Creek near the Attaway Road end.

Additionally, due to delays in mail delivery, late fees typically applied on the 6th will be postponed until the 12th.

Looking forward to more sunshine and warmer temperatures in tomorrow’s forecast! Stay safe and take care!

The office will be closed on Wednesday, January 28th.
✅ Although the office is closed, we are working around the clock to assist you.
✅ Service crews are on standby 24/7 to address any emergency water issues.
✅ At this time, there are no mainline outages. During these extreme temperatures, the no water calls we have received are due to frozen pipes on the customer's side.
****A few simple steps can make all the difference in preventing costly damages from a burst water pipe****
1.) Be sure all foundation vents are closed.
2.) Keep water moving thru the pipes by allowing a small trickle of water to flow.
3.) Open cabinets near sinks to allow warmer air to circulate around pipes.
4.) Disconnect all outdoor hose pipes and protect hose bibbs from freezing temperatures.
5.) Keep garage doors closed as much as possible. Many homes have water heaters and water pipes in the garage area.
6.) Know the location of your meter and shut-off valves.
7.) Report broken or missing meter lids to our District Office to prevent frozen meters.
8.) If you need to remove the meter box top at your meter, BE SURE TO PUT IT BACK IN PLACE IMMEDIATELY.
9.) If you suspect that your meter is frozen, call the District Office first. NEVER try to thaw the meter with an open flame heat source. This will cause damage to the meter and electronic reading device. Damage caused by this type of heating may result in replacement costs being passed on to the customer.
10.) Please use extreme care when attempting to thaw water lines. Any type of unattended heat source is unsafe and can cause a fire.
Stay safe and warm!

Due to hazardous road conditions, the office will remain closed on Tuesday, January 27th.
✅ Service crews are on standby 24/7 to address any emergency water issues.
💧 At this time, there are no reported mainline outages. If you are experiencing water disruptions, it is most likely due to frozen pipes at your location.
Stay safe and warm!
