Multiple arrests were due to impaired crashes. It is never safe to consume alcohol or drugs and drive. Please be careful of your choices, it doesn't only affect you.

🚨 New York DWI Law Changes Coming in 2026 🚨

If you drive in New York, these changes matter ⬇️

🔹 One DWI = License Trouble
Starting in 2026, a DWI/DWAI will add 11 points to your driving record — enough on its own to trigger a license suspension.

🔹 Harsher DMV Rules
• License suspension possible at 10 points in 24 months
• More traffic violations will now carry points
• Longer look-back period on your driving record

🔹 Repeat Offenders
Drivers with 4 alcohol- or drug-related convictions could face permanent license revocation.

🔹 Bottom Line
New York is taking a zero-tolerance approach to impaired driving. The consequences are faster, tougher, and longer-lasting.

🚗 Plan ahead. Drive sober. Protect your license — and lives.
