Please join us in welcoming Tony Jones to the Clarksville school community! Tony will serve as the Pk-12 Principal starting the 26-27 school year. We are excited to have him join our team and look forward to the leadership, energy, and support he will bring to our students, staff, and families.
I am thrilled to be working alongside all of you as I continue my journey in educational leadership. Originally a proud native of Belle Plaine, my path in education has been fueled by a passion for supporting students through every stage of their growth—from the classroom to the athletic field. My wife, Michelle, shares this dedication to education as a science teacher at Dike-New Hartford, so our dinner table conversations are rarely short on school spirit! Most recently, I’ve had the privilege of serving the Aplington-Parkersburg community as the Middle School Dean of Students and Activities Director. During my time at AP, I’ve focused heavily on bridging the gap between student support and academic success by overseeing attendance initiatives, managing At-Risk data, and implementing MTSS intervention plans. Beyond the office, you likely saw me on the sidelines coaching MS football, wrestling, and track, or perhaps behind the wheel as a substitute bus driver. My goal is to bring that same "all-hands-on-deck" mentality to this role, designing innovative frameworks that empower our staff and ensure every learner feels engaged and supported. I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to help our students thrive! - Tony Jones
