Clinton Warren Station 60 was dispatched to the 8000blk of OH 730 for a report of a one vehicle accident. While responding communications advised the vehicle was in a pond. Crews arrived to one vehicle on its top partially in the water with heavy damage. It was determined that the vehicle was unoccupied. The area was checked thoroughly by multiple agencies. Nothing was found. AES was requested to the scene to secure and replace a utility pole that was struck and damaged.

Please use caution during your morning commute. AES will have multiple crews working to replace the damaged utility pole. AES is advising that the roadway will be down to one lane with the possibility of full closures during replacement. Power is also out in the area and is expected to be restored soon. Unknown time when work will start on said replacement and or repairs.

Over the last two weekends, one of our members (Chaplain Bob Moertle) attended the Ohio Fire Academy in Reynoldsburg Ohio to complete the Ohio 36 Hour Volunteer Fire Fighter class. This grant funded program is ideal for small and rural departments, providing cost free training for those who want to serve their communities.

Bob has been the Department Chaplain since April of 2026. Through his time in the firehouse he has grown interest in becoming a certified 36hr Firefighter. Bob was able to attend the Free class hosted by the Ohio Fire Academy over the last two weekends. We are happy to report Bob passed his class final and State Final with flying colors! Bob has put in a great deal of hard work preparing for this class. We are excited to see him step into this role.

Congratulations Bob Moertle
