Gas & Water Highlight!

​The Clarksville Gas & Water Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES) crew recently inspected a a 60-inch brick sewer pipe along a 500-foot section, 35 feet below College Street.

The work was accomplished through coordination with Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), and the Clarksville Street Department.

Michael Giaimo, Utilities Equipment Operator, made the confined space entry to record a 360-degree video of the full line, which was built in 1890.

The inspection was successful, and the video offered great detail of the line for the full sewer crew to review and evaluate.
