Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences Thursday, September 10 and Thursday, September 24

CMCSS Elementary Schools will host Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences two days in September. You do not need to attend both days. These conferences are a great way to connect with your child's teacher and collaborate on ways to support learning at home and in the classroom.

➡ All elementary schools will have representatives from the Special Populations Department on-site to answer questions, provide resources, and connect families with opportunities for their child. No appointment is necessary to meet with the Special Pops team.

Wondering what you should ask during your time? Here are a few options:

🍎 What should I expect my child to learn this year in your class?
🍎 What can I do at home to ensure my child's success this year?
🍎 If my child struggles in your class, what resources are available?
🍎 How often and in what methods (textbook, notes, workbook) should I see my student practicing the information you taught at home?

Your dancers will learn a routine that they’ll get to perform at the Pink Out Home Football Game, during halftime on Friday October 2nd! Not only do they learn a routine but they’ll get to learn pom motions, dance technique, fun dance tricks, school chants and MORE! Ages 4YR-8th Grade!

Important Reminders for Parents and Guardians Regarding Child Nutrition

🍎 The Free and Reduced Meal Program grace period will end on September 22, 2026.
🍎 If you believe your child qualifies for free or reduced-price meal benefits and you have not submitted an application for the 2026-2027 school year or have not received a letter confirming eligibility, you will need to complete an application. You must complete an application every year to remain eligible.
🍎 We strongly encourage families to apply online at https://www.schoolcafe.com, as it is the fastest and most convenient option. Applications can be completed on a computer or mobile device. You will need to create an account and set up a username and password before completing the application.
🍎 Families who are unable to apply online may pick up a paper application from their child's school office or at Central Office Gracey (621 Gracey Avenue, Clarksville).
🍎 If an approved application is not on file by September 23, your child's meal status will change to paid, and parents/guardians will be responsible for any meal charges on the student's account.

Today we celebrated the last Friday of August with donuts and coffee frappes for our faculty & staff! We are looking forward to even more amazing things as September is headed our way. Have a great weekend Falcons! 🧡💙

We are back for another awesome day! Each morning, bingo squares are called on the morning announcements & winning students get to come choose a prize from the cart! Students can earn a bingo square by receiving a Falcon ticket for above & beyond choices anywhere in the building.
