Today, Sgt. Danny Elliott had the unique opportunity to take to the skies and fly from the Austin Peay State University campus to the airfield. This experience gave him a firsthand view of our beautiful campus from above while also allowing him to see what our students experience as they train and develop their skills in the APSU Aviation Program.

We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about one of the many outstanding academic programs offered at Austin Peay. Experiences like this strengthen our connection with the campus community and provide a greater understanding of the exceptional opportunities available to our students.

Officer Mike Williams had the opportunity to assist the Austin Peay Men's Basketball team in a youth development initiative called Beyond the Court (BTC) a sports-based life skills and mentorship program being implemented in partnership with the Montgomery County Juvenile Court and Austin Peay Men's Basketball. He spoke with several young individuals about decision making.
