We was challenged today with a call of a house fire while the citys water was off , with the help of malden, holcomb,gideon fire depts we got the job done ,thanks for the help ! Noone got hurt at this call how ever thank you medic one malden unit for doing a standby incase we got over heated !

thank you Malden fire dept. , Gideon fire for your help today with the structure fire at 400 carr street , thankfully the house had sustained some damage but it is repairable, the occupants did not lose everything and no one was injured , also we would like to thank Holcomb fire dept for heading this way to assist us but sorry we canceled you guys however it is great knowing we can count on you to help us in a time of need ! great job guy and gals !

There is an individual calling Dunklin County Residents stating they have an warrant out of Dunklin County and that in order to keep from being arrested they are to bring money (amounts vary) to the Dollar General Store and purchase two cards with the money to be mailed to a designated City. Anyone receiving a phone call stating they have a warrant and requesting money, it is a scam. Any questions relating to a request for money from the Dunklin County Sheriffs' Office is a scam. The number given to contact the Dunklin County Sheriffs' office has been given as 573 271 5263. When that number is called it is answered by recording as the Dunklin County Sheriffs' Office. This is a scam and if you receive one of these calls, call the Dunklin County Sheriffs' Office in Kennett if you have questions. The sheriffs' office located IN KENNETT phone number is 573 888 2424.

dont forget the Clarkton fire dept will be having a fireworks display tonight at dark at the C.B James park on highway 25 , the Fire Dept. will be selling cold sodas and bottled water, BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS and insect repellent ! the show will last aproxim. 45 minutes !
the show will start at dark (roughly 8:30-9pm)
with special thanks going out to everyone who donated to help purchase the fireworks this year !
WE ASK FOR SAFETY REASONS PLEASE DO NOT SHOOT FIREWORKS DURING THE SHOW !
