💎🌟EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT🙌👮‍♂️
Meet Code Enforcement Officer Chuck Seremak!! He was selected as CPD's Employee of the Quarter 🚓🎊

Code Enforcement Officer Seremak was hired by Clawson PD in 2025 and has become a valued member of our team. Code Officer Seremak worked in a similar position in another city before joining us and has over two decades of experience with property management. In addition to working for the Police Department, he is an integral part of the Community and Economic Development Department. His contributions to the city extend beyond the responsibilities of enforcing ordinances, and he has established himself as both a trusted resource and respected asset. Code Officer Seremak’s goal is to work positively with members of the community to gain compliance. His commitment to maintaining our community’s standards, promptly addressing concerns, and working with residents and business owners over the past year has made a meaningful difference.

When asked what he likes most about working for the city of Clawson, he said that it is the community. Code Officer Seremak advised that our smaller size is our strength because it allows for close relationships with residents, which ultimately leads to better services. He gets the most enjoyment from his role by helping residents find simple, practical solutions to home repairs, drawing on his previous experience working as an inspector. In his spare time, Code Officer Seremak is a craftsman! He enjoys the unique art of casting statutes and creating handcrafted Lion plaques

Code Enforcement Officer Seremak is an asset to our team and his commitment to the community deserves recognition. Please join us in putting Code Enforcement Officer Seremak in the “Employee Spotlight” this Quarter!!

Please join us in welcoming Officer Paul Alexopoulos to Clawson P.D.! Officer Alexopoulos comes to CPD with nearly 4 years previous Law Enforcement Experience working for both Ypsilanti P.D. and Eastpointe P.D. He holds an associate degree from Oakland Community College, is a graduate of the Oakland Police Academy, and is very familiar with Clawson as he previously served on the Planning Commission for the city. He will be starting his Road Patrol journey on the night shift this weekend, so if you see him around in the evenings, please give him a wave! We are excited to add him to the force!

Clawson PD was proud to participate in the annual Torch Run for Special Olympics yesterday! 🔥

Our team picked up the Torch from Birmingham PD at 14 Mile & Crooks and ran it over to Maple & Livernois, where we passed it along to Troy PD.

A huge shoutout to our Flame of Hope Sponsorship businesses: Nick’s Country Oven of Clawson, Weiss Distilling Company, Wh***ey Taco Foxtrot, and The Clawson Steakhouse. And a special thank you to Clawson DDA Director Kristen Urbanik for joining our fundraising and Run team this year, and to Clawson Finance Director Ryan Tracy for stepping in at the last minute for Officer Barnett while she recovers from surgery. We’re grateful for your willingness to support this great cause. Finally, we’d like to recognize the generous individual donors who supported the team in their mission. Thank you for supporting our department and the incredible athletes of Special Olympics! 💙

We loved seeing the community standing along the route cheering the runners on! One of the things we love most about Clawson is the way our community comes together to support one another. Yesterday was another great example of that!
