Our CES students worked hard last week taking their Fall MAP Growth assessments in Reading and Math, and we are so proud of their effort! 📈✨

Students who met their Fall MAP goals got to celebrate their hard work with a delicious ice cream sundae! 🍨🎉

Now, the goal is set for winter! 🎯 Teachers will be working with students to set their Winter MAP goals, and we’re encouraging our Tigers to give their best effort every single day. We can’t wait to see how much they grow when we test again in December!

🧁 BAKING UP SUCCESS IN DR. ROBINSON’S CLASS! 🐅🖤💛

Students in Dr. Robinson’s class have been busy building essential life and social skills through a tasty hands-on project! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our Tigers practiced reading and following a recipe step-by-step as they worked together to mix and bake homemade muffins. 🥣✨ Along the way, they put key communication skills into action by sharing materials, taking turns, and supporting one another as a team.

And the best part? Enjoying the delicious results of their hard work! 😋🧁

Learning together, communicating together, and growing together with one shared purpose under One Roar! ⚡

Mrs. Bullard is kicking off a K–5 Life Cycle Investigation in her STEM classes Monday! Our eggs went into the incubator Thursday night, so we are officially tracking development from Day 1 to HATCH DAY!

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Jarrell and her Eggerleigh's Chicken Coup out of Metter, Georgia for donating an amazing variety of eggs, including Cream Legbars, Copper Marans, Easter Eggers, Polish/Silver Laced crosses, Brahmas, Olive Eggers, and more… plus ONE MYSTERY EGG! 🕵️‍♀️🥚

There’s science for EVERY grade level!

* K: Living things, animal needs, growth & change
* 1st: Animal characteristics, needs & offspring
* 2nd: S2L1 Life cycles, including the chicken life cycle
* 3rd: S3L1 Habitats, adaptations & survival
* 4th: Ecosystems, food chains & interactions
* 5th: S5L1/S5L2 Classification, inherited traits & behaviors

Along the way, students will observe, predict, collect data, model, compare, and explain using evidence.

A huge shoutout to A’King, one of our 2nd graders, who was SO proud of himself for finishing a 160-page Spider-Man book! 🕷️💥

His perseverance and determination to stick with it and finish the book is something to celebrate! 💪📖 We love seeing our students discover that reading is fun and that they can accomplish big things, one page at a time!

🌱 GEORGIA AG IN THE SPOTLIGHT! 🚜🍑

Do you know what Georgia’s top commodities are? If not, ask any student in Ms. Kearney’s Basic Ag Science class—they can tell you! 💡🌾

After exploring the powerhouse agricultural products that fuel our state—like peanuts, poultry, cotton, and timber—students got creative! 🎨📐 They built 12-sided 3D dodecagons and featured different Georgia commodities on each panel.

Combining hands-on learning, geometry, and agricultural education with one shared purpose! 🐅🖤💛

Huge congratulations to Caleb Waters, Gabriella Glisson, and Campbell Hester for earning Positive Office Referrals!

All three of these outstanding students demonstrated true Tiger Pride by consistently following our CMS ROAR expectations.
