What a well-deserved spotlight! Thank you, Coy Tippins, for your 17 years of unwavering dedication to EMS and for keeping crews safe both in the air and on the ground. We are incredibly grateful for your service—happy EMS Week!
Next in the ⭐️ SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ we have Coy Tippins
With 17 years in EMS, nearly 9 years with Air Evac Lifeteam, and more than 900 patient flights, Coy Tippins has dedicated his life to serving others in their greatest time of need.
Coy says life — and EMS — has taught him many lessons, but the biggest is that the “rule of 3” is real… bad things seem to happen in threes. Through every challenge, his faith, family, and sense of purpose continue to keep him grounded.
When he’s not at work, you can usually find Coy where he loves being most — at the ball field, at church, or somewhere on the coast with his people. He’s the proud husband to what he calls “an absolute smoke show” and a blessed father to three amazing kids who make every long shift worth it. ❤️
Coy also serves as our Base Safety Representative, helping ensure our crew stays informed and prepared on the latest safety concerns. Outside of flying, he is proud to own South GA CPR & First Aid and serves as the RTAC Coordinator for Region 9.
Coy says, “Helping train others, serve the community, and make a difference in emergency medicine has been one of the greatest honors of my life.”
Thank you, Coy, for your leadership, service, and dedication to improving outcomes together for the communities we serve. Happy EMS Week! 🚁
