Tonight’s sold-out Lecture & Learn at the Herzstein Memorial Museum will start the excitement, followed tomorrow by our featured Raptor Program with live birds of prey from the New Mexico Raptor Foundation at the Clayton Air Park Building! 🦅

The next few days are packed with dinosaur fun.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone for another exciting Dino Days weekend! 🦕

🦅The Library and Kendyl Monroe Lectureship Committee is sponsoring a visit from the New Mexico Raptor Foundation. Join us at the Airport Building Thursday, May 28th at 5:30 or Friday, May 29th at 10 a.m. for a presentation with live birds of prey.

🚴‍♀️Also Friday beginning at 11 a.m. youth of all ages can bring their parents and their bikes and escooters for a hands-on, pedals-on Bicycle Safety Education Event at the Airport Park.
Local Law Enforcement, Clayton Fire and Rescue, the DWI coordinator will be educating families about riding safely!
Prize and Ice Cream will be available!

📝And look for me Saturday if you'd like to contribute a family history to the Union County Local History Project.

The Annual Summer Library Program begins June 9th.

🚸Register your toddlers, children who have not yet graduated Preschool, and yourself to attend Storytime on Tuesdays all summer 10-11.

🍎Register your children headed to Kindergarten up to Second Grade for our in house programming on Wednesdays, 10-11:30.

🎨🤖All other ages can attend the Open Maker Space hours every Wednesday and Thursday from 12-4. You may register your children for a particular day and time to attend.

🙋‍♂We welcome Caring and Responsible Teens to sign up for volunteer hours as well

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration declares May National Bicycle Month.
Join us during Dino Days for a bicycle safety education event Friday, May 29th, 11 a.m. at the Clayton airport park followed by free ice cream.
🚴 Clayton PD will educate youth riders and parents about helmet laws and how to ride on the road.
🚵 The Union Count Sheriff's Deputies are organizing a road course to practice these skills.
🚴‍♀️ Clayton Fire and Rescue will help kids and parents fit their helmets correctly and talk about what to do if you or your friend is in an accident.
☑️ The Union County DWI Coordinator will talk about situational awareness and about never getting into a vehicle with someone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
