We're about to kick off another season of adult softball! There's not much time to register, so head over to ClaytonParks.org/register and reserve your spot!

- All players must be at least 18 years of age (9/28/26 cutoff)
- Maximum of 15 players per team, no roster restrictions
- Team fee: $600
- Season begins 9/28
- No individual registration, must register as a team

MEET OUR NEW INSTRUCTOR! 🎭 ✨

We're excited to kick off new improv classes for all ages! Whether you're looking to get creative, make new friends, or just have fun, there's a class waiting for you!

But first...meet our instructor!

Tanya brings more than two decades of professional experience on stage and in commercial work. She brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every class. Tanya founded Pavilion Plays, a theatre company right here in Clayton. She fosters a safe, inclusive environment where students feel empowered to explore their ideas and take creative risks while having fun. Through improv, she teachers proven techniques that strengthen performance and boost confidence. Tanya believes every person has something unique to offer and is dedicated to helping performers sharpen their skills and step into the spotlight with joy!

Important youth basketball open gym update:
Parents of middle and high school students who typically come to the community center for youth basketball open gym, please take a close look at the September schedule before allowing your child to head over. There have been many time changes, and we want to make sure families are aware of these changes so students aren’t dropped off or walk over expecting open gym when it is not scheduled.

Get ready to explore Clayton! We've got two new classes joining our lineup this fall.

Nature Explorers - Ages 2 - 10. This interactive class includes local fauna and flora exploration while teaching children to love the outdoors! Each week offers a new topic like insects, pollinators, and other exciting choices that revolve around our local natural spaces.

Wednesdays, 1PM - 2:30PM. 9/2 - 9/30.
Perfect for homeschool curriculums!

Birds of a Feather: Senior Birding - Ages 50+. This outdoor program will introduce participants to the basic skills of birding. Listen for bird calls, identifying field marks, and more!

Mondays, 9:30AM - 10:30AM, 9/14 - 9/28, 10/5 - 10/26

CLOSURE NOTICE

The Clayton Community Center will be closed Monday, August 17th - Sunday, August 23rd. This temporary closure will allow for annual facility maintenance and resurfacing of the gym floor.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep the community center in great shape for our community! Normal hours will resume on Monday, August 24th.

NEW CLASS ALERT!

Our new Adaptive Inclusive Movement class kicks off in September and we can't wait to get it started! This class is designed for ages 7 -12 and gives participants of all abilities the opportunity to explore movement, build confidence, and have fun!

Participants will enjoy music and dance styles while working on coordination, fitness, social connections, and self-expression. No dance experience needed, just bring your energy and get ready to move!

Residents/Non-Residents: $12
