WELCOME TO CLAYTON FOOD TOUR. WE LOVE FOOD. WE LOVE LOCAL. WE LOVE CLAYTON! JOIN US FOR A FUN INSIDE LOOK INTO LOCAL RESTURANTS & EVENT VENUES.

Welcome to the Clayton Food Tour! Once per month, (except June and December) we visit the best that Clayton has to offer. Locally owned restaurants, bars, breweries and bakeries all participate in our tours. Taste a sampling of what each place has to offer. Tour the facilities and talk with the owners. Sometimes we mix it up and throw in some shopping or Art or whatever strikes our fancy. The tour

is always held on a Tuesday. The tour starts in downtown Clayton and we either walk to the different establishments or we take a ride in a stretch limo to the different destinations. This is the perfect tour if you are new to the area and don't know what culinary treats are here, or if you're a native, it's a great way to meet new people and have fun in your own backyard (so-to-speak)

JWL's 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck is such a fun event for all ages.

Proceeds from this event will directly benefit Johnston County through the Junior women's league NC initiatives like Johnston county blessing boxes and Peanut butter buddies. Funds also support grants and other Johnston county non-profits to assist with the development of programs benefiting women and children.

Looking for a fun event that benefits Johnston County!

This is going to be such a great event! Play. Learn. Explore at Touch-A-Truck! Shenanigans Limo Party Bus will be there as well!

JWL's 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck is a unique and interactive fundraiser that allows children to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite big trucks and heavy machinery, as well as to meet the personnel who protect, serve, and build Johnston County communities. Trucks on display will include emergency vehicles, tractors, machinery, construction equipment, farm equipment, service and delivery trucks, and more. This event will also include food trucks, inflatables, special guests, face painting, and so much more! There is fun for children and adults alike!

Admission is FREE! $5 wristbands will be available to purchase for inflatables, face painting, etc.

Proceeds from Touch-A-Truck will directly benefit Johnston County through the Junior Women's League of Smithfield's initiatives like the Johnston County Blessing Boxes and Peanut Butter Buddies. Funds also support grants for other Johnston County non-profits to assist with the development of programs benefiting women and children. JWL has awarded over $135,000 in Community Impact Grants since its inception in January 2016.

JWL’s members will collect non-perishable food and personal care items to be placed in JWL’s Blessing Boxes throughout Johnston County. Look for the collection site under the Touch-A-Truck flag! Attendees can drop off items or monetary donations at the black 1934 rat rod featuring the JWL logo, sponsored by Teddy Bland, realtor with HomeTowne Realty Clayton East.
