✨ We’re Hiring at The Magnolia Inn ✨

The Magnolia Inn in downtown Clayton is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team.

This position will be temporarily full-time before transitioning into an ongoing part-time role.

🧺 Schedule:
• Tuesday–Saturday from July 7 – August 22
• Transitioning to Sundays & Mondays ongoing

Responsibilities include guest room cleaning, laundry, common area upkeep, and helping maintain a beautiful guest experience.

Hospitality and housekeeping experience are preferred, but reliability, kindness, and attention to detail matter most.

Candlelight Social is coming up at The Magnolia Inn ✨

On Friday, May 29 from 8:00–10:00 PM, we’re opening the doors for an evening of live music during Last Friday in Clayton.

This month, Joe Collins, dulcimer player, will be joining us at the inn. Wine, beer, and light fare will be available for purchase, and the event is free to attend. Bring a friend, come by after dinner, or make us one of your stops for the night.

Artist Spotlight: Joe Collins 🎶

Introducing Joe Collins, featured performer at this month’s Last Friday in Clayton Candlelight Social at The Magnolia Inn.

A folk musician and mountain dulcimer player since the late ’70s, Joe is known for his mountain dulcimer playing and solid vocals. He is also a songwriter, with influences ranging from Simon & Garfunkel and Gordon Lightfoot to Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, and Burl Ives. It’s the sort of music that feels right at home for a candlelit evening at the inn.

Don’t miss this exciting performance! Join us Friday, May 29 from 8:00–10:00 PM for an evening of melodic fun.
