PROPER DISPOSAL OF FIREWORKS:
In Iowa, used, misfired, or "dud" fireworks should be completely submerged in a bucket of water and soaked overnight before disposal. After soaking, they should be double-wrapped in plastic and then placed in your household trash or taken to a landfill. Never put unsoaked fireworks in the trash as they pose a fire and explosion hazard.

All collection services for the week will remain on regular schedule Monday, June 29th through Friday, July 3rd, 2026. We will only be closed on Saturday, July 4th. Have your items at the curb by 6 am on your regular scheduled service day to ensure collection.
