At approximately 12:35, Rescue 1 was alerted to assist Company 16 with a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries in the area of Krebs Hwy and Old Erie Pike.

Rescue and Command 1 responded, and was advised one vehicle off the roadway into the trees, one occupant walking around.

Command 1 arrived in the area of the initial dispatch location with nothing found. Clearfield County then advised a second call was placing the crash in the area of Old Erie Pike and Hartman Road, changing the jurisdiction to Centre County Company 57.

Rescue and Command 1 remained in the area, and was advised by Centre Chief 11-1 to proceed in as we were the closest units.

Command 1 arrived on scene with PSP to find one vehicle off the roadway with significant damage, no occupants in or around the vehicle.

Company 1 provided debris cleanup and checked the vehicle for hazards after observing a dry chem extinguisher and residue on the engine compartment.

CLEARFIELD — The community is invited to National Night Out in Clearfield, taking place from 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Clearfield Fire Department located at 108 E.

The Quint and Rescue just cleared a reported unknown type of emergency in an apartment building downtown. Crews arrived to assist the Police Department on a welfare check due to an occupant not answering the door for his friends and an audible alarm sounding, possibly a carbon monoxide alarm. Quint 1’s crew forced the door and made entry into the apartment where they found the occupant in his bedroom. The individual reported he was just sleeping and never heard his phone or people knocking. It was determined there was no emergency and Deputy 1 (T. Buck) placed the box available.
