Our "Monster Mash-Up" job fair was a smash! Sixteen employers were on site and we were thrilled to have some new faces in attendance! We didn't even get photos of everyone, but we would like to recognize John Ross of Rent-A-Center, Jessica Kubas and Chelsea Carrier of Sunny Days In-Home Care, Teresa Turner of TAFCO, Sasha Fink and Joan Britton of Mountain Laurel, Mike Crytser of Christ the King Manor, Jess Graffius of Minit Mart, and Lisa Kovalick of the Clearfield County Redevelopment Authority for joining our job fair for the first time!

The "Graveyard Smash" virtual job fair featured 10 employers. Job seekers scanned a QR code to learn more about the employer and how to apply. We will be sharing one of our newest videos featuring Billy's Burgerland soon!

We would like to extend a special congratulations to "DJ Garrett Po***ck" of Spherion DuBois Pennsylvania who won our "best costume" contest! Garrett had an entire deejay booth with flashing lights and music and kept everyone entertained while he talked to job seekers.

Thanks to all of the employers, staff, and job seekers who made the day such a success! The next job fair will be in 2026! 🎃👻

As we prepare for our upcoming job fair, we would like to feature one of our more unique local employers, Artisans Of The Anvil!

Artisans of the Anvil will be included in the“Graveyard Smash” portion of the “Monster Mash-Up” event, a combination of in-person and virtual employers, October 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Yesterday, Brandt Hunter, our Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist, hosted a chili cook-off to promote the Clearfield VFW's upcoming "Operation Chili Cook-off."

CareerLink staff served as cooks while local veterans, Chris Priester, Sr., Jeff Owens, and Shayne Roberts volunteered their time as judges.

CareerLink's own site administrator/Chili Master Todd Vanderburgh took home top honors, with cooking credits to his wife, Kristie, for their Mexican chili recipe. The Vanderburghs will move on to represent the Clearfield CareerLink office at the VFW's event on November 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thank to you to the veterans who volunteered their tastebuds and time for our event!
