911 Staff works a fixed Day or Night Rotation, 12 hour days, with every other weekend off. Benefits include County healthcare, County Pension, and Paid Days off! Starting rate $19.50/hr with a $1/hr raise after one year of service.
All training is provided in house, along with on-the-job training.

Requirements:
-High School Diploma
-Reliable Transportation
-Clean Criminal History
-40+ hours/week
-Ability to Multi-task
-Strong Communication Skills
-Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
-Available to work every other weekend, day shift, night shift, and holidays as assigned by the dispatch supervisor.
-Ability to work in harmony with co-workers

🚧IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW🚧
The Clearfield County EMA and Clearfield County Commissioners have declared an Emergency Disaster Declaration for the major flooding event taking place in southern Clearfield County. Please be aware of multiple flooded roadways and damaged infrastructure. County EMA is currently on scene with the Fire Department and Red Cross representatives doing damage assessments and aiding in emergency responses.

Anyone in Clearfield County affected by today’s flooding that has not yet spoken to a Red Cross Representative or County EMA please call 814-672-5453 for assistance.

Amazing work by our Dispatchers and 1st responders!

Wow! Look at the number of incidents in Clearfield County after the Thursday evening storm!

102 different incidents ranging from EMS calls to trees down, to brush fires, to structure fires!

Thank you to all the volunteer fire fighters in this county and ESPECIALLY our dispatchers who were SLAMMED with calls!

They did a great job handling the high volume of calls in such a short time period, thank you!
