The MSC comprises approximately 1,000 officers who are healthcare administrators and executives. They play a critical role in leading and managing the Air Force Medical Service, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered services and supporting the readiness of our Airmen and their families. โ

Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Chief Executive Officers
Medical Group Administrators
Health Plans Management Officers
Medical Logistics and Health Facilities Officers

Training & Education:
Upon commissioning, MSC officers attend a five-week Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. This program is designed for professionals with advanced degrees and prepares them for leadership roles within the Air Force. โ
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, candidates must:
Be U.S. citizens
Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
Complete the Officer Training School
Meet age and physical fitness requirementsโ
