We are announcing our 3rd annual Mourning on Mother's Day (May 11) and Father's Day (June 15) events. The purpose of these events are to offer space, support, and solace to people in the q***r, trans, and foster communities during days that can be particularly difficult.

"Doors open" to the venue at 2:30pm. The healing circle starts at 3:00pm, and there will be no entry while the healing circle is active. This is to minimize distractions and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to be heard and offer their support to others present.

The doors will reopen by 5:00pm for games, activities, and general hanging out. We will have board & card games, a letter-writing station, and refreshments.

We will be hosting these at 11213 N. Nebraska Avenue, #403! Please share with those you feel could benefit. Thank you.

We've received a few messages about whether or not we will be doing another "Thanksgiving" dinner this year. We have talked about it as an organization and we *do* want to do another holiday dinner this season.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to plan one yet because many of our members have had to step back, being at capacity between our day jobs, disabilities, and other community obligations. At this point, it is not feasible to plan anything for "Thanksgiving". Realistically, a November dinner it would have to happen next year.

There is the option to plan for a winter holiday meal next month. We would need help for event management and planning; particularly to secure a venue at this short notice. Of course, we also would need people to help cook, provide security, etc etc. Theoretically, if we had enough community assistance , we could make it happen. But again, at this point nothing is planned.

If you are able and willing to help us with this or on an ongoing basis, please contact us. Thank you for your support in these past two years. We truly appreciate it.
