At Girls on the Run, we inspire participants to be joyful,
healthy, and confident using a fun curriculum which creatively
integrates running and movement.

-Joyful movement-based activities for all abilities
-Relevant group discussions that teach life skills and critical thinking
-Lessons that create a sense of belonging and acceptance to make a welcoming place for all
-Setting goals in preparation for a celebratory 5K

Season Start: Week of September 21
Season End: 5k on November 21
When: Mondays 3:15-4:45 and Tuesdays 3:15-4:45
Who: Girls in Grades 3rd-5th
Registration Fee: Sliding Scale (Financial assistance is available to families in need. No girl is turned away due to financial barriers).

Great American Teach-In will be on November 18, 2026

The Great American Teach-In provides an opportunity for parents and members of the community to visit schools and speak with students about their occupations, hobbies, or interests. Although the focus of the Great American Teach-In is to give students information on a variety of careers, we also encourage volunteers to share their hobbies, organize an activity, read a story or teach a class. Speakers can choose the school they would like to visit and the amount of time they wish to speak, from one hour to an entire school day.
